The Hamada Laboratory has been promoting the research and the development
for the mitigation of natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis,
and for the creation of resilient world and safer societies.
In particular, the laboratory focusses on the research on natural disaster risk
reduction and its practices for water-front industrial parks.
